  • 4 Headboard/footboard rails , 2” x 2" x 27”
  • 6 Slats for headboard/footboard panel , 1” x 4” x 27"
  • 1 Slats for headboard/footboard panel , 1” x 1” x 27"
  • 1 Slats for headboard/footboard panel , 1” x 3” x 27"
  • 1 Rail for slats to rest on , 6’ x 2”x 4” pine board cut in half to be 2 pieces measuring 6’x 2”x2”

Directions

  • Prepare for frame cuts

    Cut frame pieces for headboard and footboard

    Step 1

  • Prepare for panel cuts

    Cut pieces to make up panels for headboard/footboard

    Step 2

  • Milling

    Mill lumber for bed frame pieces

    Step 3

  • Pocket holes

    Join boards to make panels with pocket holes

    Step 4

  • Sand

    Sand all pieces thoroughly

    Step 5

  • Create headboard/ footboard

    Join 2x2 pieces to make the headboard and then insert panel and screw together & Join 2x2 pieces to make the footboard and then insert panel and screw together

    Step 6

  • Draw wing

    Draw your wing into the side pieces and then cut it out

    Step 7

  • Pocket holes

    Add pocket holes to side pieces

    Step 8

  • Slat support

    Add slat support to the side pieces

    Step 9

  • Join pieces

    Join side pieces to headboard

    Step 10

  • Join pieces

    Join side pieces to footboard

    Step 11

  • Create slats

    Cut slats to fit bed and install

    Step 12

  • Clear coat

    Finish with a clear coat

    Step 13

  • Finshed

    Enjoy your new bed!
