This diy round coffee table is made out of 3/4" plywood. The fun part about this table is that when you cut the circle out of 3/4" plywood, you use the off cuts to make the legs!

There's also a matching chair to this set! https://learn.kregtool.com/plans/plywood-lounge-chair/

Directions

  • Cut square out of plywood

Cut a 36" square of 3/4" thick plywood.

  • Cut a circle

Locate the center and then cut a 28” diameter circle. In the video i said 30“ but 28” gives a better leg taper.

Cut the leftover piece with a circular hole into the 4 legs.

  • Taper legs

Measure 2" in and cut off a triangular piece to taper the legs.

  • Cut legs 3 and 4

Hand draw and cut a curve on Leg 3 then use it to trace and cut Leg 4.

  • Cut legs 1 and 2

Trim Leg 1 and 2 so that the outside edge is 1-1/2” inches from the outer table edge.

  • Attach legs 3 and 4

Glue Legs 3 and 4 together and then connect to table top with pocket holes.

  • Attach legs 1 and 2

Screw Legs 1 and 2 to both the table top and to Legs 1 and 2.
