Using wood glue and pocket hole screws, attach one Low Shelf Side parallel to a Front Post at its end.

Attach the other Low Shelf Side to the Front Post 3/4" above the bottom.

Using wood glue and pocket hole screws, attach a Top Shelf Side parallel to a Middle Post at its end.

Using wood glue and pocket hole screws, attach the Middle Post to the Low Shelf Side 4" from the edge of the Front Post so that the Low Shelf Side and Top Shelf Side are aligned.

Using wood glue and pocket hole screws, attach the two Low Shelf Sides and Top Shelf Side into the outside edge of a Back Post, with the bottom Low Shelf Side 3/4" from the base of the Back Post.

Repeat these steps to create another side frame, but doing it with the pocket holes on the other side of the wood so the insides face each other.

  • Add shelf supports

Drill two pocket hole in each end of the Shelf Supports.

Using wood glue and pocket hole screws, attach three Shelf Supports between the two Back Posts level with the three sets of Side Supports.

Using wood glue and pocket hole screws, attach a Shelf Support 3/4" from the bottom of the Front Posts.

Using wood glue and pocket hole screws, attach a Shelf Support 4" in from the top corner of the Front Posts, in line with the Middle Posts.

Using wood glue and pocket hole screws, attach the final Shelf Support 4" in from the top corner of the Middle Posts.

  • Attach bottom slats

Using wood glue and nails, attach the first Low Shelf Slat to the lower Shelf Supports, flush against one side.

Using a 3/4" spacer, repeat this process until all Low Shelf Slats are in place.

  • Add middle slats

Using wood glue and nails, attach the first Middle Shelf Slat to the middle Shelf Supports, flush against one side.

Using a 3/4" spacer, repeat this process until all Middle Shelf Slats are in place.

  • Add top slats

Using wood glue and nails, attach the first Top Shelf Slat to the top Shelf Supports, flush against one side.

Using a 3/4" spacer, repeat this process until all Top Shelf Slats are in place.

  • Add hanging bar

Drill two pocket holes in one end of the Hanging Bar Supports.

Drill a 1" wide hole in each Hanging Bar Support near the opposite end from the pocket holes.

Using wood glue and pocket hole screws, attach the Hanging Bar Supports to the Back Posts at the top edge.

Slide the Bar through the holes with 1/2" sticking out on each end.

  • Stain and seal

If desired, add a coat of stain and sealant onto the plant stand to match the colors of your room and keep it protected.

  • Add plants

Fill your plant stand with beautiful plans!

Add various sized pots to each different sized shelf and hang some pots from the bar!

Add decor to give it that final touch.
