How about the industrial style that's becoming more popular lately, huh! It's really been growing on me, so I figured I'd experiment a little and try a quick coffee table. It's a super quick project for anyone else interested in giving it a go!

Wood Products

  • 1 Board , 1x6 , 96"
  • 1 Board , 1x4 , 72"

Hardware & Supplies

  • 1 Set of Hairpin Legs
  • 1 Special Walnut Stain
  • 1 Clear Gloss Polycrylic

Cut List & Parts

  • 2 Tabletop , 1 x 4 x 26"
  • 2 Tabletop , 1 x 6 x 26"
  • 2 Tabletop , 1 x 6 x 18"

Directions

  • Step 1.

    Build the top of the coffee table.

    Attach the boards as shown with wood glue and 1-1/4″ pocket holes and screws. Place pocket holes on the bottom side of the tabletop to best hide them.

  • Step 2.

    For additional support, attach a set of "cleats" to the bottom of the table top.

  • Step 3.

    Sand and finish the tabletop as desired.

  • Step 4.

    Attach hairpin legs to the bottom of the tabletop.
