Full plans to build yourself a mobile storage caddy. This caddy can be used in so many rooms in the house and for so many various purposes. This build is done completely out of plywood.

Materials

Wood Products

  • 1 Sheet of Plywood , 8' x 4' x `3/4"

Hardware & Supplies

  • 50 1 1/4" pocket screws
  • 1 Wood Glue
  • 1 150 grit sandpaper

Cut List & Parts

  • 1 Bottom Piece , 14" x 14"
  • 2 Side Pieces , 14" x 16"
  • 2 Side Pieces , 15 1/2" x 22"

Directions

  • Cut out the bottom piece

    Using your Kreg Accu-Cut Circular Saw Track Guide, cut the bottom piece to 14" x 14".

  • Cut out the side pieces

    Using your Kreg Accu-Cut Circular Saw Track Guide, cut two side pieces to 14" x 16" and two additional side pieces to 15 1/2" x 22".

  • Cut curves into side piece

    Using a jigsaw, round out one edge of each of the taller (22") side pieces.
    Using a jigsaw, cut out 5" x 2" rectangle holes in the center of the longer curved piece.

  • Drill all necessary pocket holes

    Using the Kreg® Pocket-Hole Jig 720PRO drill pocket holes at 6" intervals along two sides of the bottom piece.

    Drill 3 pocket holes along the lower edge of the taller side pieces at 6" intervals.

  • Assemble the Entire Caddy

    Using the pocket screws and wood glue, assemble the caddy. Attach the side pieces to the bottom piece and secure with pocket screws. Then attach the other 2 side pieces using the pocket holes and screws.

  • Add Castor Wheels

    Attach wheels to make caddy mobile

  • Finish Caddy

    Sand wood caddy all over. OPTIONAL: Apply a wood stain or finish of your choice.
