Desk Organizer
Unclutter your desktop with this small bookshelf! You could also use it on the countertop in the bathroom or kitchen to control the clutter. This easy one board project can be made in one day and makes a great gift.
Directions

Cut wood
Cut wood according to the visual cut list in the woodworking plans with a miter saw for the lengths and a table saw for the rip cuts.

Drill pocket holes
Drill pocket holes as shown in the woodworking plans.

Assemble
Using clamps, attach the bottom and the center piece with the pre-drilled pocket holes and 1 ¼” pocket hole screws as shown in the woodworking plans. Large clamps can help keep these two together as you attach. Next, attach both shelves to the center piece with pocket hole screws. Then clamp down and attach each shelf side as shown in the woodworking plans with pocket hole screws. Lastly, clamp down and attach both of the back pieces using the pre-drilled pocket holes on the bottom of the shelves and the bottom piece.

Make pocket hole plugs and fill
If you have matching premade plugs. glue them in. If you are making them with the custom plug cutter drill guide, then drill them out of the extra premium pine stock first then glue them into place.

Sand and stain
Once the glue is dry, sand everything down flush with 150-grit sandpaper. Dust the desk organizer off then stain with the stain color of your choice.

Seal
Lastly, seal with lacquer after the stain has dried fully.
