Official Rules – Sounds of Woodworking Sweepstakes

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

This Sweepstakes is sponsored by Kreg Tool Company, 7500 SE Convenience Blvd., Ankeny, IA 50021 (“Sponsor”).

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD

The Sounds of Woodworking Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins on August 13, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. Central Standard Time (CST) and ends on September 19, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. CST (the “Overall Sweepstakes Period”).

The Sweepstakes consists of six (6) entry periods (each, an “Entry Period”). Each Entry Period begins when a new sound is posted to the official Kreg Tool Instagram account @kregjig and ends when the sound answer is revealed. Approximate dates for Entry Periods are as follows:

Entry Period 1: August 13–August 15, 2025
Entry Period 2: August 20–August 22, 2025
Entry Period 3: August 27–August 29, 2025
Entry Period 4: September 3–September 5, 2025
Entry Period 5: September 10–September 12, 2025
Entry Period 6: September 17–September 19, 2025

Exact start and end times for each Entry Period will be announced on Instagram in the corresponding post and/or story.

ELIGIBILITY

The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Do not proceed to enter if you are not at least 18 years of age and a legal resident of, and located within, one of the 50 United States, or the District of Columbia, at the time of entry. By participating, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are binding and final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. Employees of Sponsor and any other organizations affiliated with the sponsorship, fulfillment, administration, prize support, advertisement or promotion of the Sweepstakes and each of their respective parents, agents, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (regardless of where they reside) or persons residing at the same address, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. “Immediate family members” shall mean spouses, parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, and their respective spouses. “Household members” shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year.

HOW TO ENTER

To enter during any of the six (6) Entry Periods, visit instagram.com/kregjig and complete the following steps to receive one (1) entry in the random drawing:

Follow @kregjig on Instagram.
Listen to the sound posted for that Entry Period.
Comment your guess or response as instructed in the post.

Limit one (1) entry per person per Entry Period. Entries must be submitted from a public Instagram account. Duplicate, automated, or fraudulent entries will be disqualified. Entries must comply with Instagram’s Terms of Use and Community Guidelines. There is no cost to enter. If you choose to enter using your mobile phone, data rates may apply. See your wireless provider for pricing plan details. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means or practices, or by any means which subvert the entry process will be void. All entries must be submitted by the end of the Entry Period to be eligible.

WINNER SELECTION/DRAWING

At the end of each Entry Period, five (5) winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received for that period.

A total of thirty (30) winners will be selected during the Sweepstakes.

5. WINNER NOTIFICATION

Potential winners will be notified via direct message on Instagram from the official @kregjig account. Each potential winner must respond within 48 hours with eligibility verification and a valid U.S. shipping address. Failure to respond in time, to meet eligibility requirements, or to provide valid information may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries received.

Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winners are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.

6. PRIZES

Each of the thirty (30) winners will receive a Kreg Swag Pack containing:

One (1) commuter journal
One (1) deck of cards
One (1) bandana
One (1) mug
One (1) hat
Five (5) Kreg stickers

Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of each prize package: $63.44
Total ARV of all prizes: $1,903.20

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in its sole discretion. Any and all federal, state, and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

7. GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS

By entering, you agree to:

Be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor;
Release and hold harmless Sponsor, Instagram, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize;
Abide by all applicable laws and Instagram policies.

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical issues, or other causes compromise the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor also reserves the right to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

Exact contents of certain prize package elements to be determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. Winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes, if any, as well as any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. Prize may not be assigned, transferred, changed or redeemed for cash, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied by Sponsor. The awarding of the prize is contingent upon full compliance with these Official Rules.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Sponsor is not responsible for:

Late, lost, delayed, misdirected, or incomplete entries;
Technical failures of any kind;
Unauthorized human intervention;
Errors in the administration or processing of entries.

Entrants agree that Sponsor, Instagram, and their representatives shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or injuries of any kind resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

9. PUBLICITY RELEASE

Except where prohibited by law, by entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant grants Sponsor permission to use their name, Instagram handle, likeness, and entry content for promotional purposes in any media worldwide, in perpetuity, without compensation or notice.

10. DISPUTES

Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, entrant agrees that (1) any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association and held at an AAA regional office in New York, NY; (2) the Federal Arbitration Act shall govern the interpretation, enforcement and all proceedings at such arbitration; and (3) judgment upon such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys’ fees, other than entrant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with participating in this Sweepstakes), and entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

11. RELEASES

By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release Sponsor and any other organizations affiliated with the sponsorship, fulfillment, administration, prize support, advertisement or promotion of the Sweepstakes and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and agents, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees, as well as each of their respective successors, representatives and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in this Sweepstakes and/or acceptance, use or misuse of any prize (including the use of any power tools).

12. MISCELLANEOUS

Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, undelivered or garbled entries; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize, or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to entrants’ or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of the website. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the website or otherwise in violation of these Official Rules. Should any portion of the Sweepstakes be, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised by non-authorized human intervention or other causes including but not limited to war, strikes, health crisis, epidemic, pandemic, civil disturbances, work stoppage, and/or acts of God, which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the potential winner from all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. In the event of a dispute regarding online entry, entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account associated with the entry and he/she must comply with these Official Rules. The authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the e-mail address by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR WILL DISQUALIFY ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL AND RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use each winner’s name, hometown (city and state), voice, biographical information, likeness, photograph and any statements regarding this Sweepstakes in all media now known or hereafter discovered, for any purpose, including without limitation, in connection with, and to promote, market or advertise, the Sweepstakes, in whole or in part, without review, approval, credit or attribution, notification or payment from or to entrant or any person or entity, worldwide, in perpetuity, and/or on a winners’ list, if applicable. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable U.S. federal, state and local laws and regulations.

By participating, you understand that you are providing your information to Kreg Tool Company, not to Instagram. Your information will be used only for Sweepstakes administration in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
